Cute game! I love the idea, but the game can get a little less interesting after a while, and more repetitive. Some more keyboard action maybe? I love the art as well, and the music is very fitting!

Cute graphics, and really nice water physics. My only suggestion is to make the background pixel art too and it would really make the game look even better. Good work!
really enjoyed the aesthetics
I love the pixel art but it's a bit inconsistent, with objects in the air being sized up more for example. The water wave effect is really nice but it feels out of place with the cartoonish graphics. I also think just a little bit more going on in the background, even just a simple scrolling pattern would go a long way to making the game feel more alive. The UI is a little bit messy, but functional. My main gripe is that it felt like I didn't really have any control, I just had to row to not drown, but I may be shot into the air and hit a cloud or something. That being said, super impressive for 3 days, so great work!

The water wave effect is really well done!! Really cool physics system, the gameplay felt very smooth. Sometimes it felt a bit unclear how you "drown" and I was usually caught off guard by it. Never quite understood the conditions to trigger the game over, except when i got hit by a big wave!

As for game over yeah well xou either hit the objects floating above (ufo/cloud/bird) and that's a game over or you're too deep under a wave which also is a game over. Should be made more clear maybe.
And yea i renamed the leaderboard on lootlocker to have it fail loading and have the local one load (which it does when lootlocker fails)
this is because someone hacked it already in this small jam ... and it made the Ui look really bad with their custom name and score;(
Idea is neat but execution isn’t very nice. Art is good but UI, esp. with all the bugs, ruins it

Yea because some kid thinks he needs to break people's game in game jams by submitting fake scores with fake names. i removed the online leaderboard for now. it shows local leaderboard now
