At first i thought the objective was to stay alive as long as possible by going from house to house, so I was really confused about the scoreboard.. Made much more sense when i finally found the exit! Maybe a bit of explaining could help the player? Also since it's based a lot on luck in the generation its very hard to find a method to get better!
I noticed later that the goal was not very clear, so I wrote it in the description. However, with so much information, it still wasn't very clear.
And yeah, sadly I couldn't improve the house generation.

thank you for playing! Nice idea, I wanted to create a better environment overall, but I had no time. However, this is for sure the game I most invested in the visual, and learned a lot with it. Maybe next time I can learn how to make smoke and things like that xD

I really couldnt make it that far since its based on luck, i just dont have enough houses spawn to survive for long:( Also the game kept freezing google, i guess the cold got to it too:D

The sprites look nice, i really like how the house slowly stops glowing as it loses temperature:)

Overall its a nice submission, idk if there really is much of a strategy except luck tho. Its nice that you managed to combine 2 themes from 2 jams, i hope you had fun making it:)

And what do you mean by "game kept freezing google"? Was the game using a lot of RAM?
idk really what was happening, when i pressed play the first 3 times my chrome started to lag (mouse was moving slowly, inputs took 10 secs to register), i had to close the game page everytime, but for some reason on the 4th time it worked ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Im guessing that its some webgl weirdness or something, all web games are a bit less stable

I very much like the initial screen and how it has all the info you need to play.
Core game loop is fun, I think it would be better if the world would generate objects in every direction, and the goal were to survive as long as possible. But that might contradict a little with Escape theme.

I've hit a bug I think. When I try to start the game it just freezes up. I can hear some sound but the game itself doesn't actually start.
Oh, that's sad, I haven't been able to reproduce this. I noticed that sometimes the size of the itch screen bugs my game, but I think it's because of the SharedArrayBuffer experimental feature :(
