Awesome game
I didn't exactly understand some of the mechanics, and i'd say either the enemies spawn way too fast or the upgrades come way too slow. It is a good game and a fun concept, it could just use a little bit more polish and slightly better balancing.

I am doing a vampire survivor like as well, actually i used the same goblin enemy asset you used.
Good graphics and overall vibe of the game! Didn't quite understand how to attack with your knife, i think it fit the theme okay too! Good job!

I can reach only 8th wave
Reminds me a lot about Vampire Survivors. Only managed to get to lvl 8 but it was a lot of fun! If you think about continuing the game after the jam I'd recommend rebinding the throwing knife to either Left/Right Click instead of E. The music was also very vibey!
What was your strat for reaching 8th wave? Only managed to enter the 6th

But in all seriousness, the knife is a good first upgrade to get, and running around in circles is easier to deal with the mobs since they cluster together better
