I like how the levels really encourage you to make good use of the wall jump. It's cool to see how our games had a lot of similar mechanics, but a few tweaks made yours feel like a precision platformer as opposed to mine being a momentum one. Also unrelated to the game itself but your itch.io page looks really cool with the custom font on it. Nice job.
Thank you! I felt the same way when I was playing your game :) its funny how little tweaks make the experience different! I love wall jumps so much, tried to make a good one and a little game around them.

Impressive, I respect your effort in every aspect. Game mechanics , animation , level design , art theme or even background and atmosphere, they blend in well. Small scope, but you nail it all. I can see it on tablet or mobile phone easily.
One thing I really want to change is that the game flow is too long. It should be shorter or have leaderboard in each stage so player can rest also player can choose stage would be cool.
Thanks for playing and the kind words! We've been on the fence about pursuing this further...I unfortunately wasn't able to get the names to work with the LootLocker board, big regret. I wanted to make it per level like you suggested, but without that online leaderboard functionality, I had to make the call to the whole run. I 100% agree with you :) Stage selection would be a great addition as well! If we put it on mobile like some of our other titles, I think we'd have to scrap a couple of the background images ;)

The game is very cool! I was addicted and couldn't get out of the game until I had completed it, as the game didn't give me the opportunity to do anything other than play it. The graphics are very stylish and nice, and the gameplay too! I wish you to get into the tops of this game jam, and I wish you good luck in your future projects, and in your life!

Thanks for calling out the quitting feature, original plan was to include leaderboards for each level as well as an overall time. I wasn't able to get the leaderboard to work like I wanted so I unfortunately scrapped it due to time. If we continue on this project, that will definitely be in there.
This game is very well made, I love the aesthetics of this game, at first when I started the game, it reminded me about Google dino game. The controls are amazing, that's what I notice the most about games. I wish there would be a leaderboard, so I could compete with other people, but anyways overall this is a fantastic game!

I wish I got the leaderboards in as well. First time using the LootLocker service, I've got to take some more time fiddling with it to display things the way I want. I wasn't happy with the results I was getting so I scrapped it. Current plan is to figure that out and then add it to the game with boards per level.

Love how it looks. So much achieved with just one tone.
The gameplay is fun and could be addicting on phone.
Some sounds are too loud though.

Thanks for playing! This is the most limited color palette we've used in a game before, glad you like the results! I uploaded a bug fix update for this, sound was one of them. I ended up overwriting the lower volume with another object, if you play again, please let me know if it's better?
