Hi! Played your game just now and here's some feedback:

  • The aesthetics were nice! I can see you put effort in making the house and the rooms to look good.
  • It was fun to shoot zombies and try to survive as long as possible at first but the gameplay become repeated at some point. You could try to think is there a way to add more variety to the rounds other than having different number of enemies attacking.
  • As others have noted, to make the player feel more excited and for them to know what is happening some additional visual effects might be good. At least an effect for when zombie takes a hit compared to when you miss should somehow look visually different. Also when the player themselves take damage there could be some visual effect. Many times I did not even notice that the zombies managed to hit me because the only thing that changed was the number in the right bottom corner.
  • I didn't really feel a clear connection with the magnetism theme. But as Embraysite points exactly the opposite in their comment this is clearly just a matter of subjective opinions.

If you have time, I would encourage you to check out my submission for the game jam as well. It would be cool to hear if you have any feedback on it. Both positive feedback or improvement suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Some hit effects would improve the experience. Other than that you basically just shoot those grannies wave by wave. It's fine, but some more enemy variety would be nice.

The arena is pretty interesting with the different rooms, and the dim lighting, but some feedback to show you've hit the enemies would really help. I was worried for a while that I wasn't attacking right until one enemy finally fell. It would help to have some particle effect, like blood spray, maybe make the enemy blink white a bit and make a sound effect and even stagger or at least stop moving forward when they get shot.
