The gameplay is very interesting, it just that it become very simple when it only have one tile left but still, nice game!

Cool game! But I always ended up pressing up and down to preserve the final land and never died.

Hope you can play my game, too! -> https://itch.io/jam/scorejam17/rate/137957

I don’t know how I did it but I played for a long time pressing up and down. I’m missing a tutorial ingame, nice work!

I really like the concept,  has a lot of potential. the music is nice with it as well and i allways enjoy good pixel art. Only the wheat farm did not look like wheat farm at first glance at least I think thats what it was. maybe a scare crow/farmhouse would make it more ahhh farm land or something.  You have to be really really "5 head" to get a super high score with this game . So if you like a mathy challenge this game is great. When playing games I feel like people do not want to think to hard though , its hard to find that balance of difficulty for games. like the game feels super mathy for it to be really fun cause lets be honest we are never really excited to do math homework. and this is mystery math 5 head gameplay. Some people may really enjoy it. Like Mathmaticians or MathMagicians XD

This is a really cool take on the theme. A tutorial would definitely help people to get the hang of it quicker.  This game does feel like it has some serious potential though. Awesome job!

I think the concept is really unique. I was just wondering if there's anything keeping you from just killing off the other 7 tiles and just focusing on 1 tile to keep alive?

I scored more than 6 thousand points without even reading the text, I think something is wrong here. BUT this is the best jam game after mine!

By far the most ambitious entry that I've managed to play for now, I respect it for trying something complex, but it desperately needs a small tutorial or a better wrap up of the rules in the description. Given the nature of the game, the UI could have been a bit more polished, but I appreciated the art style of the biomes.
I vastly prefer this sort of raw but original games to the ones that go for the most predictable things given a theme; this is exactly what are jams for, good job!

Managed to score 15194.  A lil confusing but once I played around with it for five minutes I think I figured it out.  I liked the relaxing music and pixel art as well!

Reminds me of Civ 2 for some reason. It's not very clear how to play, even after reading. I like the concept that you can only control what's around you and not your city itself. Kinda opposite of the idea that you can't control the world around you but only control yourself. Nice.

Hi there!

Interesting concept for a game, definitely something that I wasn't expecting to play. I will say after a few clicks it got kinda slow, I think I took like 20 or so turns just clicking up-up-down-down until I lost after I only had 2 squares left.

It would also be nice to be able to compare my scores with either other players or even my own previous scores. I think I scored around 3000ish on my second playthrough but I don't really know if that is a good score or not lol.

All in all it was an interesting game and I'd be curious to see if you took it further. Good luck!
