The concept is certainly interesting, but yeah I suck at any of these arm-movement type games in general. The gameplay is definitely janky which is perfect for this jam but it still lagged slightly on the more frustrating than fun side for me.
In all honesty though I do think the core concept of trying to balance playing several difficult games at once is pretty neat.
Nice, but too difficult for me. I wasn't able to play legit.
This is one of those games where the core premise carries the game a very long way. I really like the idea of trying to control many increasingly difficult GameChilds with a hand, and obviously it makes for a rather amusing experience.
I don't really have much to say about this one, except it's nice to have a proper emulator of everyone's favourite knock-off games console/nuclear bomb. The music loop really fits the game well. If I could think of a way to improve it, maybe multiple games? Would probably make the experience a bit more interesting and difficult.
With that said though, I ran out of time very quickly. I managed to do up to about level 5 without cheating, before making generous use of the 'z' key.
Overall, it is another very good/bad entry into the jam. Well done!
It was pretty fun, I liked the concept and it was definitely very janky! I don't know if something else than even more Gamechild(ren?) spawning happens on later levels, I kind of gave up at level 4. I liked the fact that I was playing a skeleton!
I wanted to like this one. I think it's a really neat idea, and could have been one of those games with "bad" but fun gameplay, but it just didn't click for me.
I just didn't find it fun to play. Ultimately it felt like playing a boring maze game but with awful controls. I think part of it was the difficulty; I found it impossible without "cheating", and if I do that, then it has no challenge.
Which is somewhat ironic considering I submitted a literal pay to win game.
This also crashes the tab on Waterfox 56.2.14. Not entirely unexpected given that it's a nonstandard browser, but most of the other web games work.
I still think it's really cool that you tried to think outside the box and build something with quirky, weird gameplay. For me, though, it just didn't work this time.
