Pretty good puzzle game a little buggy though but no big deal. This is the first puzzle game in the jam i played so far. Puzzles are well designed. Katana teleportation mechanic i think is very well executed. Nicely done

Pretty cool puzzler! Loved the atmosphere and the interesting teleportation mechanic. Kinda reminds me of Dishonored. I managed to get to the end!

Just had some issues with the Katana not sticking to surfaces and had to make multiple attempts for it to finally work. There's also a bug in the last part of the game with the poles. When you fall off, it soft locks the game where I can't access the menu and have to force close the game to restart.

Overall a nice game!

Thank you for your feedback ! Yes, making the katana stick on a wall may be hard, unfortunately I found out how to make it easier only after the submission. But I wasn't aware of the bug you had at the end, so good to know, I'll check that. And glad you enjoyed it overall !

Really cool idea, very atmospheric too. Unfortunately I managed to clip out of that small hole sort of area on the stream but I will definitely play it again in my own time.

Thank you ! It seems like this issue is quite recurring, I haven't manage to fix it before the submission. But the game has a save system so if you ever want to play it again, you should be able to restart not too far from where you stopped. But otherwise thanks for this Jam, we had a great time doing it !

good athmosfpere overall, being stucked in some puzzle moments but I've really enjoyed music/audio components

Developer

Thanks for your comment! I think we should have added more indications on how the mechanics work, and there are still some collision issues sometimes. I hope you haven't struggled too much with that, but glad if you find the ambiance interesting.

Very nice job on the graphics and sound design. I enjoyed the rather challenging puzzles. The unusual mechanics are another positive side. Good game!

I had a blast playing this. The game has been blessed by  having a save/continue system going on, because I had some softlocks but I could restart the game and be gladly put exactly inside the puzzle I was playing. Especially right at the end, because sometimes the game would freeze after falling on the last gauntlet.

I also accidentally got to the "outer" side of the level after traversing the tunnel while crouching, but no biggie, exit/continue came to my rescue again. I noticed it because suddenly there were no lights, only dark corridors haha. I almost thought it was going to become a horror game all of a sudden hehe.

The puzzles were very well made, and the whole thing about throwing your sword and teleporting to it was very satisfying.  I had some cool eureka moments (like on the elevator puzzle thing, and the one where you have to climb step by step.

Visuals were pretty interesting, I loved the dripping effect and the floating lamps. Music fit the game perfectly.  Overall super nice experience, great job! The game reminds me of first person puzzles like talos principle, but with samurai.
