How did you choose to implement the Theme: Dark Streets in your game?
Honestly, most of the game takes place inside buildings, but these buildings are on streets. As for the dark part, lots of dark stuff happens on these streets, like murder and conspiracy.
Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
1: The game takes place in Libretto City, which is a city.
2: Oliver Cypress, the main protagonist of the game, is a young "prodigy" detective set on serving and protecting people.
3: There's a point in the game where Oliver is literally restrained, but I'd also say that he's metaphorically restrained by his own doubts.

Wow, the aesthetics of this game are really solid. We liked the choice of colors, and especially the busts and illustrations are amazing. Overall, it has quite a dark and eerie aura. We’ve only played the first chapter (due to lack of time to play the other jam games), and the ending left us intrigued. We will definitely finish it, but for now, great job!! :)
This was, in all honesty, the best game I've played in this jam, a severely underrated game.
The gameplay is excellent, the QTE events are very well done, the puzzles are great (why are so many keys hidden in fires? I guess we'll never know)
The characters feel natural and relatable (especially Oliver, a fellow coffee addict)
The soundtrack is something else, I literally kept the title screen open until its OST finished playing cuz it was just that good
I can't wait for chapter 4, and I surely hope we can make great games together one day
It was perfect...perfect...down to the last minute detail
🗣️🔥🔥
By the way, if you play this game for the jam, you don’t have to play the entire thing(it’s like 2 hours long), though I’d recommend getting through at least the 1st chapter. Chapter 1 is 20-40 minutes long. If you play past that, thank you!!
