That one went very smooth, like the synthwave. I find what you did very balanced in terms of sound. Good job!

Nice atmosphere, great sounds.

On the other hand, I have the feeling that, in terms of the mix, the pads are a little louder than the drums. Did you use sidechain?

And secondly, the bass repeatedly sounds like F C Ab Eb. I have the impression of hearing the chords Fm Cm Ab Eb several times. Am I wrong?

Thanks for checking this out—Glad you liked it! The pads were made louder than other simultaneous instruments so that the chords would be easier to detect. I used a compressor in the master audio bus, and I’m not sure if that’s considered side-chaining or not. As for the bass, it doesn’t use chords at all and isn’t supposed to follow or correlate to the chord progression, if that’s what you mean. The chord stuff is something that never really stuck with me in music theory, and I never really try to follow traditional patterns or systems when using chords.

Really good vibe here - still bumping after listening haha - I like the chill "I got this" feel I got from it - great instrument choices and solid beat throughout! Great job!

Nice atmosphere and vibe on this. Really liked the mellow part with just the synth brass, beat and bass.
