What a cute mouse!!!
I really like the idea and the mouse is super cute and definitely the star of the show! :)
As already stated: If you wanna make it an actual rhythm game, you could prohibit left/right movement. I do think the obstacles are actually spawning on the beat, right?
The difficulty is pretty brutal, mostly due to the very sensitive controls. With just some tuning to values like the movement speed on input, jump height and fall velocity, I think the game would be a really nice play!
I love this little mouse. Nice graphics with the scientists in the back. It was unforgiving, but regardless fun to play.
The only thing I would change, are the controls. Because you could move freely, it didn’t really feel like a rhythm game. I feel the game would have been more fun if jump forwards was always a fixed width, so you’d have to hit specific keys on-beat.
Regardless, a fun game and a good entry for the jam.
The game looks really nice and it's really fun, but it's unforgiving at certain moments. Sometimes the boxees are too close from each other, and that makes the game kinda difficult. But besides that, a really cool game, good job!
Extra points because I felt bad for the character lmao.
The visuals are really cute and I like the game idea, just wish the hitboxes were a bit more forgiving. Also you can walk off the screen on the left and right side which breaks the game a bit.
Challenging game! I included it in my Rhythm Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out!
Pretty good game. I think the theme could’ve been implemented better, but the visuals and sound design more than make up for it.
