The IGDA Climate SIG presents:
REGENERATE Game Jam 2026
REGENERATE Game Jam is back, this time with a focus on Sustainable Futures!
The future is not predetermined, but to achieve change, we have to be able to imagine it first!
Let's make games that celebrate futures that are sustainable, democratic and equitable.
REGENERATE Game Jam is fully online and is open to people from all over the world.
Join the Discord server, to find a team, ask questions, connect with mentors, experts and fellow jammers and share your progress
The winning team will be invited to showcase their game at the Games and SDG Summit held in Rome.
Additional Submission Details
- Anyone who contributed to the development of the game must be given proper credit for their work, either within the game or on the game's itch.io page.
- To qualify, your game should feature sustainable future/s
- All assets used in the project must belong to the creators or be used under an appropriate license. No AI-generated assets.
- Game development tools such as asset packs or plug-ins that are not genAI are allowed so long as credit is properly given to their original creators, either within the game or on the game's itch page.
- The game's Itch.io page must include a build, description, cover image, and at least one screenshot.
- Non-digital games may be submitted as a text document description, or in the form of media such as photos or videos
- Only submit games that are SFW
