  • Very long time to get to actual gameplay, and the gameplay is not fun and buggy, near instant death. After waiting over 3 min to even get to gameplay and then dying instantly is very frustrating. For this jam I would have focused a lot less on the RPG side and more on the gameplay side, the RPG while an interesting idea, adds nothing to the game.
  • Def a neat interpretation! Def felt very slow to play but def was interested in where it was going next the whole time.
  • It was a decent game once you could get to it. I read a lot faster than the dialog and there was no way to get it all out there faster so I could get to where I could play. You wrote a lot and your dialog was pretty good, but just because it looks like a classic game doesn't mean that it needs to use classic game UI paradigms. Let people play at their own pace we have come a long way from slow printed text for a reason.
