+ simple, elegant mechanics
+ very quick to pick up and play, great if you have just a few minutes
+ toggleable on-screen control display.
+ map that not only shows you the layout, but lets you intuitively navigate around. Excellent!
+ at lower setting, runs well even on my older MBP
+ good pre-launch setup screen
- art quality is not quite up some of the larger puzzle titles
- often finishing a puzzle unlock 1 or none new puzzles. I would suggest that early puzzles be made to unlock more forks, giving a player more to do to avoid being stuck at a bottleneck
This is a great little game. UI and controls are basically perfect, achieving a simple elegance like you'd find in A Good Snowman. The map's functionality is a nice touch that really shows this developer's commitment to making the gameplay fun and the UI seamless. Graphic artistry is a little bit 'developery', but this doesn't negatively affect the quality of the puzzles. I'm not colourblind, but I don't know if the puzzles work as seamlessly for a colorblind individual as they do in something like Cosmic express. I don't really get the 'plot', it feels like a concession to popular gaming and feels irrelevant if you just want to play a puzzle game, but again it's not in the way.
That looks already gorgeous and really promising :)
This is a cool concept! Obviously more options and stuff would be cool but for what it is I really like how simple it is to use
