Very well done. I took it slow. I breathed slowly and synced up most clicks with my exhales. Played in this way, it is a ~30-minute meditation.
Animations can be a bit jarringly trigger-snappy if you are taking things slow like me. But i didn't really mind the snappiness. I just assumed the asset was excited to move on to the next event sequence (And snapping is more of a software thing; it will improve as the resources and libraries for these projects mature and become more user friendly over time)
Of Bodies is a sweet and thoroughly queer collaborative story telling game, which creates episodes of a childrens cartoon about robots discovering themselves.
All characters have shared moves, which focus on the social aspects of storytelling, and character moves, which focus on propelling the story forward.
You slowly build your robot and their feelings about themselves by defining appendages for them, as they travel through a world you create together as you go (although one player plays the world, and has special moves for this).
There is a Campaign map of mythic locations to travel through, and extended prompts for them to assist in building scenes there.
Honestly, this is a lovely, pleasant game, that's really worth picking up.
