Treated is a short narrative focused game about being visited by 5 trick or treaters and the lessons that might need relearning from our past. It's very short and you're tasked with observing a memory, taking in the details and will be asked questions about that scene to determine whether you get trick or treat points, ultimately affecting the ending. It's super simple but I really enjoyed writing and drawing this one!

I found this game to feel like a fairly full experience. The story was pretty good and I felt that the sets were also interesting to interact with.
I sometimes felt that clicking on an object wasn't as easy as I would have liked and I'm not sure how to fix that as it feels more like a limitation of Pulp.
The only things that I found to be missing from the game is some more sounds and maybe some music as well.
Overall a really solid and interesting game!
That's a highly visual and narrative-driven game! I liked the rhyming dialogues and the reimagining of A Christmas Carol along with the riddles, but I didn't quite grasp the ending...
Hey, thanks! The idea with the ending is you either get the “good ending” where you decide to process past pains in a healthy way or you get the “bad ending” where you decide to ignore those lessons from your young years and “carry on”. I can’t even remember what I wrote in the script but that was the idea 😅
once again ollie you take a theme that ostensibly is pretty silly, and create something real that invokes genuine emotion. i really like the theme and pacing of this one, and at the end of it all i think i learned one important thing: that a tall tree sways in the breeze /j
This game has great presentation, tells its stories in such a poetic way. It feels like a mini novel I would find in Cricket magazine, and I love it.
This is a beautiful little story, I like the mechanic of exploring the scene and the environmental storytelling, I think it was very effective.
Poetry over prose. Loved it.
ps: on the witch scene I click on the tree out of the window and it triggers “are you finished?” and near the end it says “10 trick or treaters”
