Description
My intent with this composition was to invoke the lonely and dark feeling that comes with exploring the End, devoid of human presence and the seemingly endless void that's prevalent everywhere.
I originally started out this composition by running one of my existing songs through Cecilia5 (which is a very destructive audio editor) in order to invoke the kinds of texture that I imagine would be heard in the end. I then utilized many modulators within the project to modify parameters for different effects. I opted for many organic sounds like a choir and a violin in order to bring some human elements into this track, but then ran these sounds through chains of effects that mangle the audio to convey the kinds of off-putting vibes that are given by the atmosphere and the few mobs that reside in the End.
I choose to interpret the End as having a sense of haunting beauty, prompting deep contemplation

The End result is awesome! I absolutely loved it!!
I also liked reading about your creative process. It helped me to understand the different elements that you have crafted for the music.
Great work!!
I loved it ! Really cool take on the end, pretty spot on in my opinion. The sound design really is on point and evocative. I don't really have any constructive criticism to give, I feel like you really knew what you wanted to do, and did it pretty well.
Dark indeed it is, like the vibe, is there a processed choir doing the gritty pad kind of sound ? Curious how its been made, sounds interesting.
Hi there! Yes I am using a choir sound for the "pad" sounding thing in the background. It's a very gothic sounding library which I felt fitted with the theme of the End. Thanks for listening!
