What Game Segment is this Theme For?

Oceans/Rivers

Description
An attempt at a calm, ambient track for the Ocean biome in Minecraft using Piano, Strings, Celeste, and Harp.

C418's Minecraft soundtracks are how I defined the "Minecraft sound," so I wanted to try combining C418's ambient style with my own style. This is the result using my rather novice skills in mixing and mastering. Feedback for improving the soundtrack is kindly appreciated~

I liked the atmosphere of the track very much but also agree that maybe adding some bass instrument or low octave keys would fill some empty low-end space. Also just adding some simple low frequency material e.g. half way through the track can help to give a sense of forward motion to the piece. Also (at least on YouTube) the overall volume seems to be quite low. Apart from that I really think the track fits the chosen category nicely.

Less is more ! Very well done. As it was already pointed by UwUCatAgent, don't hesitate to play with low ends : they are quite discreet in C418 work, but they count a lot in the distinct feeling of his work.

I think you could play with the low end more (like sounds of recording the rumble from ocean waves moving), but otherwise, it's very much a calm and relaxing take on the ocean/rivers. Good job!

A good quality track. I enjoy listening to this piece. Well done! Maybe turn the master volume a bit up.

I definitely feel the C418 vibe you’ve gone for. Through the consistent buildup throughout the track, with soft instrumentation, it’s a recipe for success. Fits the biome perfectly!
