- Your GDD gives a great overview of your development plan. It'd be nice to see some inspiration sources and future plans too. The music and art do a great job setting the scene and theme. The more serious fantasy setup for the game makes the jokes in the endings hit very well. The different music and sound effects for each one are great too. Love the bandage easter egg too. Overall, this game was well written and funny. Awesome work! I'd love to see the game expanded to add more detail to the endings or maybe have some spinoff stuff.

Summarize your game!
One Last Thing is a simple “find the ending” hidden object game set around the premise of the hero's party finding an immensely powerful single-use artefact that temporarily summons a god during their adventure. They were saving it to use against the world ending final boss… but they defeated the final boss without using it and now have to figure out what to do with the artefact. The player must find certain objects that represent potential uses for the artefact, and clicking them shows a humorous ending of the main character summoning a god for various tasks. Gameplay wise it’s most like the “Whack your ____” series of web games, minus the dark humour and violent animations.
Please explain how your game fits the theme.
Narrative wise, the theme of “Only One” is represented by the single use artefact, which is the Only One item of its kind in the game’s universe and has Only One use.
On a meta level, the game takes place in Only One scene, and the player has Only One thing they need to do, find and select an ending.

This is so cute and smart, I'm actually a little jealous T^T
The ending scene art is so pretty I wish I had merch with it. I also would like to see some inspiration titles in your GDD, because I loved the "find the ending" concept so much and I NEED more games like this hahaha!
I absolutely had to include this in my list of favourite games from this jam, let me know if you'd like me to remove it or change anything. Keep up the great work, your writing rocks!

Thank you so much for featuring my game in your article, it looks good as is! I actually thought the ending scene art would be the weakest part since I'm no artist, and I had to draw them myself since my artist TheFin was busy with other stuff, so it comes as a huge relief to hear that you found it cute/pretty still! Unfortunately I can't think of "find the ending games" other than the one I mentioned in my GDD... aside from another one of my game jam games I made... oh god 6 years ago xD Feel free to give it a try though! It's a short dating sim style find the ending game that features a fox girl from one of my other games.
Thanks again for playing my game, and for writing about it in your article! ^^
I really loved this! Fun game and fun concept- made me laugh several times
Now I wonder what the adventurers will do with all those hundreds of unused potions....
Bet they could make a fortune selling all the unused consumables! Thanks for playing!
Played and reviewed on stream!
Cute art style, fun point and click ending gathering game.
Would have liked some endings that required a few clicks to achieve, some sort of logical ordering of steps
But overall a charming, funny experience.
Starts around 4 minutes!

Additional note, first few minutes of me fiddling in the game is just reading and talking, as I had the wrong scene toggled. it gets fixed at like 7:00, skip to there for a real visual lol. MB! Dont stream much, so I don't notice these things
Hey there! Thank you for playing, reviewing, and streaming my game! I did consider combination endings, but ultimately ran out of time to do them. Glad you liked it nonetheless!
this was so cute!
Thank you! glad you liked it!
Very neat idea, I loved both the art for main screen and endings art bits. Also MC looks very kawaii...
She is, isn't she? I really like the art my artist Mister Fin makes. Thanks for playing!
This is such a funny concept and I love how you turned it into a multiple choice adventure. I loved the art and thought the art for the endings were very funny. My favorite ending was definitely the book on top of the shelf.
Glad you liked it! I think petty/ridiculous uses of the artefact are the best too. Thanks for playing!
