- I had no idea what any of the abilities did or how it affected the enemies other than the laser. There didn't seem to be any real objective or goal so I wasn't really compelled to keep playing for very long. The theme wasn't really present other than calling the enemies a shadow government. I gave you a little bit in artistic style, because at least that was consistent. I would provide context as to why you are fighting the enemies, what the abilities do and how to use them, and what the overall goal of the game is.

Extra Notes
This is our first game Jam, so please give us some leeway. This is what happens when 4 uni students from very different disciplines try to make a funny money game. Hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it (if it works (if)) <3

I dont undersand the combat. Cool game.
There is a glitch that if an enemy gets too close to you he "sticks" and makes you unable to move in that direction. The combat feels unbalanced, the player's attacks are too weak, so avoiding the enemies is more effective than killing them (or maybe I'm just too bad idk). I also found myself stuck at the the third level.
The map details and overall level design ideas were there though, with a bit more polish this could be a cool adventure game.
combat feels absolutely random, in the end I got stuck by enemies that I couldn't fight
