Wonderful prototype! I can feel the kirby inspiration. While I couldn't get past the green power's introduction, I could already see the potential of the color system. The movement is fun, and changes often so it stays fresh. The only problem I experienced is since the character moves decently fast, the checkerboard pattern was a little hard on the eyes. Needless to say, great game!

- For my experience playing I definitely got vibes from older sonic games based on the surrounding world, and I also found the character interactions to be fun to read while playing. So in terms of the art, the characters, enemies and environment were nicely done. I was also a fan of the music; kind of a beach vibe even when one of the characters thought they were dying just because hair color change. As for the themes; on the alchemy side, I could see 'transformation' based on how the character defeats the enemies that spawn in, and for shadow, part of me thinks back to the narrative being told by the characters where it feels like there's a larger story behind why both characters are doing what they're doing. On the other hand, I feel this should be explored a bit more, because there wasn't much that stood out to me when playing that suggested its use (or was apparent to me in that sense). Lastly, the playability, while the controls are simple to follow, I did get to a point (after sucking up the enemy character, learning that set of controls) where I messed up a bit of platforming and ended up in a section that was basically underwater. I had no way of getting out of said space or portion of the game either, as the amounts of jumps were limited, so this was where my time playing ended. I'd like to come back and explore more, so I'll keep tabs on this one. A fine job all around, even though I'd like to see how the themes could be expanded upon more (unless I just needed to keep playing). All the same, keep up the good work.
- The game was really upbeat. The music was cool. I loved the humor in it. Had a lot of sonic vibes to it. I think I would have left the player controls up on the UI at least for the first time playing through the mechanics. Additionally, the camera controls were a bit jarring when swapping between going back and forth too quickly. Other than that, it was a fun time!
