the game is about a guy who falls down a well and finds a magic book that gives them shadow powers. This allows them to summon shadows and boosts the strength and resilience, mostly for jumping and falling.
The alchemist's lair has be out of commission you need to find a way out using the magic pot you will input runes to create items, some that will let you escape.
Extra Notes
magic pot inputs are not great, so may take a few tries to work.
