  • Using light as a weapon is very effective! Shadows hurt by direct and indirect light is a lot of fun. Lost track of time while playing. Very addicting!! Well done! Would love to see how this develops after the Jam!
  • Really smooth gameplay. Unique game mechanic with the attach item giving light and then timing out. That was very satisfying and helped me feel accomplished while exploring, but also challenged since the light timed out. The game was very fun in a lot of ways. Smooth character movement and well balanced enemies to attack ratio, among other things. Thank you for making this game. You did a great job and I'd be excited to see more of the game! GG

Tell us about your game!
Controls:
- WASD or arrows to move.
- Left mouse button or space to throw a potion.

Mechanics:
- Shadows that obscure your vision
- Your potions emit light allowing you to see
- Enemies exist that attempt to smother you in shadows
- Throwing a potion at an enemy damages them
- The potion light damages them as well
- Upgrades are scattered around, improving your potions

Story:
There is nothing in the game, but I had thought of a backstory.
There is a shadow wizard conducting experiments in his dungeon.
One of his experiments goes awry, leading to his disappearance, and an outbreak of shadow monsters.
As the local alchemist, you must go into the dungeon, beyond the shadows, to find the cause of this outbreak and stop it.

Extra Notes
Currently, there are no sprites, so you, the player, are a simple white square and the upgrades are coloured squares.
There is no end condition as of writing this, so killing all enemies and collecting all upgrades will be it. Nothing happens, but there are counters on the screen.
