  • happy to see that you've learned a lot. I like what I see in the GDD some clever(at least I think) interpertations of the themes. I really do hope you will develop this game as I think the idea is interesting. we need more lovecraftian things in the world

Don't worry about judging it! .... For some reason when I downloaded the HTML from my godot project and uploaded it to itch.io my game decided not to play... I wish I had time to figure it out, but I don't know ich.io or godot well enough to fix this in the next hour or so before going to bed.

Though, to be fair, there wasn't much to it to begin with. I bit off a bit more then I could chew. I thought an inventory, with pick up, item description, and crafting would be easy if the story was short... boy was I wrong... The story ,as I said, was short and sweet, with some crafting to get you to an ending. However as this is my first time working godot, and honestly my first game, I have realized how out of my depth I was. Especially since I was drawing up the art, and attempting to put music and sounds together for this.

I truly appreciate your time, and I wanted to get in at least something to show that I have put in the work!

Extra Notes
I really wanted to thank you for everything. Though my game ended up being a bit of a flop, and this being the first project in a while where I haven't been able to complete on time... (can't lie it does sting a bit...) I have learned so much! learning to work with Godot, and getting a feeling of how to string the mechanics together, drawing my first pixel art (I'm not a great artist and have found that I can be good at a linear art like pixel art!). I also started using FL studio! which I wasn't able to get anything solid for the game, but I also plan on using it for my next project. All of this combined I can say that for certain I can come out of the game jam learning more then I every would have without the motivation!

I plan on continuing to learn and improve these skills, and come back to the next game jam either to see if I can actually complete a game in the two week window or to try my hand at working with a team!

Either way ever since finding PirateSoftware, and watching Thor I have done my best to learn whatever I can to better my life! Really, and honestly thank you for everything you have done.
