  • I wasn't able to figure out how to start the potion process. I liked the instructions, but the lady asking me to throw an animal at her or something didn't make any sense. The music was nice. The 3D characters were really well done. I did enjoy the art quite well.

Tell us about your game!
Shade&Sorcery store management game where customers request potions made from specific ingredients. Quickly create the potions by aligning the ingredients to match the shapes on the wall with their shadows. Be careful, the customers may leave if you take too long.

Primary Mechanics
Players can walk around using the WASD keys and pick up items using Left Click. Items can be rotated by Right Clicking while holding them, and then dropped using Left Click as well. This intuitive control scheme allows for precise manipulation of potion ingredients to create the perfect shadow shapes to fit the stencils. They can also press E to interact with buttons, which are used to summon more ingredients and to create potions.

Extra Notes
Hope you have fun!

Really cool idea! I think having some UI on screen to show what to press when getting close to an object would have been nice in the beginning instead of having to go back to read the wall of text over and over until I figured out what I was supposed to do. But again, the shadow mechanic is very cool!

I really really like the idea! It feels a bit janky but the shadow casting mechanic is very cool!

Thank you. You are correct I realized  a bit late how different the sensitivity and control of the items you are holding can be is on the web. I tried to adjust for it last minute. You can press esc to open a menu and adjust the sensitivity a bit but it is still a bit janky. I really appreciate the feedback :D
