- The AI who came in to the shop were super cute. Overall game design was really satisfying. Exiting the shop and re-entering it is a one time thing. That was a bummer. I was exploring and went back to see what ingredients I needed to buy, but then had to open the shop because I couldn't leave. Might want to change that. World and level design were great. Countering the projectiles of the enemies was a satisfying game mechanic. This is a really good demo! Felt complete and playable. GG!

Tell us about your game!
You play as an alchemist trying to escape debt after falling victim to a loan shark.
On the morning of each day you brew potions using ingredients that are stored in your shop.
In the afternoon customers will come into the shop to buy potions that you have on display. Each customer has a specific potion they are looking for, so not all potions may sell. At the end of the week, after your debt repayment, any potions that didn't sell during the week will be automatically sold at a lower price.
There are certain illegal potions that can be sold at a much higher price, but are riskier to obtain the ingredients for and are less sought after.
The evening starts once all customers have left. During the evening you can gather potion ingredients, either by shopping for them or by exploring the different dungeons.
The next day will start after re-entering you shop in the evening.

Extra Notes
A lot of the game's story and theme didn't make the final cut, meaning the "shadows" part of the jam theme isn't well represented; From the loan shark to the illegal sales, it was supposed to be about shady business dealings.
Obviously a lot of the game is also very unfinished appearance wise, we were quite ambitious with the idea and just barely squeezed a playable prototype.
At the end of the day we all had a lot of fun making this and are excited to continue work on it in the future.
