  • I think the game could benefit a lot from a more cartoony shader. It would make the colors go more vibrant. And it probably also need a better UX.

My Time as a StellaCorp Potion Quality Tester! is a not-so-cozy puzzle simulation game about the real dangers of unchecked capitalism and how a minor cog in a machine can react to them.

You take on the role of a Potion Quality tester for a major magical corporation. You'll read potion requirements and perform tests to decide if you can Pass potions, or Fail them for being too hazardous. And sometimes, your shadow talks to you...

Wow the story was great, the Paper's Please gameplay turned into a potion game for a greedy corp is clever. I did find myself just clicking pass/fail to see if I could fake it though, and my gold kept going up. At least I was able to go through the dialog. I found myself wanting some sounds to go with it though, it would be a nice touch

Thanks so much for playing! Sound effects were our next step-- we had the sounds and music all picked out but ran out of time. :) So it goes!
