  • An interesting idea, with a nice story along with it. However, there is no reference to alchemy or shadows, the required themes. Gameplay was quite difficult, with the cutting of glass being incredibly fiddly and frustrating. A number of the glass patterns were quite intricate and neat however. This is a good start, but I think it requires some more work.

Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?
Yes

Seriously... did you include your Game Design Document?
Yes, it's in the description linked.

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
It's a small relaxing game about cutting and arranging making stained glass polygons. It has a small editor, viewer and a few levels.

Extra Notes
Press F1 for help, if you press 9 inside any level it will export the polygon you have on screen. You can later view it in the Viewer. (Drag and drop)

Cool concept, I found the controls to be a little bit tough/precise, but I thought it was cool (especially considering it was all built in JavaScript, that must have been a challenge).

Great submission!

Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to rotate the glass to make the shape. I tried pressing F1 but it was just opening chromes help page. This may just be my end, but I would love to see how the levels work later on. From what I could play, I noticed picking up panes of glass was very precise, which I think having the hitbox be a bit bigger so you do not have to center the mouse perfectly on the dot.

I see the vision of this game and again would like to be able to try it out properly whenever possible. Good work!

Thank you very much for your feedback. I did all of my testing on Firefox and Brave, and indeed, F1 opens the Chrome help page.

I will as well increase the movement detector hitbox (ten pixels around the center point) as soon as the gamejam ends.

Cheers!

(For the time being, I will add as much info here at itch.io as possible)
