  • The Idea of the game is quire interesting. Interpretation of a shadow being a nightmare is quire interesting but lacking in the mechanics. Game would really benefit from some sort of introduction to game play. This is great attempt but unfortunately the Game design document is only downloadable.

An alchemist student is a complete loser, so he has to gain knowledge in practice. 4 reagents for combinations and 3 ways to use the resulting mixture provide variability in the game. There is a delay for repeated use of the same method so that players do not spam with the most profitable combination.
There are also 2 ways of gameplay: interface (can be switched off), clicking on constellations and objects on locations.
The idea for the game appeared during a discussion of 2 topics on how to combine them. mechanics/enemies/effects - changed more than once during the creation process. lack of references, preparation and time constraints forced us to simplify many things. As for 2 people it turned out tolerable and most importantly playable.

Alchemy is manifested in the practical interaction of the player with enemies that answer the 2nd theme of Shadows, or rather shadow-nightmares, presented as phobias that attack at night
