Tell us about your game!
As the you the player are portaled into this world you disturb a large tome, after learning that the tome used to hold the laws that govern that world have been scattered the player is charged with collecting the pages on which the laws are scribed . The player travels the levels collecting reagents to use to create spells to solve puzzles to progress.

Controls:
A or Left arrow: to move left.
D or Right arrow: to move right.
Right click: to interact with the world.
Left click: to interact with the inventory.
I: for inventory.
Esc: to restart game.

Extra Notes
Potion in motion is a prototype as my first ever game, all art used was made by me, future features I would like to include would be; fall damage, jump boost, block destruction, buttons and doors. each requiring a new spell and reagent combinations

Note: as I didn't realise about targeting code to the html 5 originally the menu and cut scene have scaling problems I haven't fixed yet

Congrats on submitting your first ever game for the jam! Jumping and interacting with chests and graves was working for me. I was able to craft the mana element earth. After I crafted the "create block" spell, I couldn't figure out how to cast it. I hit the C key and I see the box appear, but I was unable to proceed. Overall, well done on your first game. Keep making games!

Same issue, I was only able to loot the first chest, not the second or the third, which is why the game stopped for me at the part where you're supposed to cast the spell to proceed. But the fact that there is inventory is cool in itself, even if it doesn't work all the time.

All in all, the game concept is nice, but needs polishing. Your character needs a better idle animation than running in place though, you got jump and fall, but not idle, it looks a little silly.

Thank you for your comment, the running in place is a current bug I'm not sure how it occurred,  could you further explain some details about the second chest; were you able to open the chest? is so how did you try to collect the item?

Triple bonus points for building an inventory during a jam! Unfortunately I couldn't get my character to pick up the salt from the chest.

I opened the best, clicked the salt, which caused the chest to close, but my inventory had no salt. I opened the chest and the salt was still there. I tried left/right clicking, dragging, keyboard shortcuts, nothing seemed to work for me. Maybe I should try on another machine?
