  • So I like the implementation of alchemy with the transformation between forms! Unfortunately the implementation of shadow was very superficial and visual. Also, it was just super hard to see things because it was super dark and it was kind of annoying sometimes. Overall I think this is a great first game and you should be proud of putting yourself out there
  • GDD Nice pace of the document. But could use images. Game The game seems interesting that ya can transform from a deer to kangaroo which I can see the alchemy part and shadows explains itself, but I think it need more levels and possible a text to explain that was the end of the demo than game over text whenever I am going in these shadowly portals.

Tell us about your game!
Shadows and Alchemy is a 2D platformer that uses transformations as its main mechanic. The player can transform between two different forms to overcome obstacles and enemies. The game's visual design is based on shadows and darkness, with enemies emitting lights that can damage the player.

The game is written in Godot and it is my first completed game. :)

Extra Notes
Big thanks to Thor for being so inspirational and to him and his moderators/team for making this happen! I had a lot of fun and learned tons of stuff.
