- Fun to play. Investigation and magic is a good combination. Struggled in the beginning to figure out how to use spells. Didn't realize Esc was the inventory button. Clever game mechanics. Will play this after the Jam.
- While this style of game does interest me, from the artistic approach with the color scheme and the music and sound effects, too, I do wish there were audio settings to work with so the shots don't take out my ears while playing. I was definitely interested in seeing how the themes were incorporated into your game, and I found that shadow was used creatively; secret societies as part of the narration is fun to explore. As for alchemy, I didn't get to fully experience this, even though I was able to acquire the fireball 'ability' after taking on some interesting enemies along the way. Sadly, I think my time playing was stopped short due to what I can only call a 'bug' or 'glitch'. When heading to the direction south of where the cult people were--where the logs blocked the way after the stairs. Once I went back towards the staircase (going up, away from those logs), I got caught in the stairs and wall. I'll assume there's gonna be a spell for that one in the future, yeah? Jokes aside, while I did find this enjoyable to play, I'd like to see the alchemy part expanded upon (that is, unless I just missed something or didn't get to it yet). If I did miss something, then I will still make sure to check this one out again. So keep up the good work.

This is actually really good! I love the style, movement and sound. I got stuck when moving back up through some screens and got ported into a wrong tile next to some stairs ^_^

Phew, almost didn't get it out the door! Please excuse that collectable at the beginning of the game (forgot to get rid of it), and try not to push any numbers or FX keys (unless u wanna play with dev commands) but otherwise very much finished!
Well, almost; the last cutscene doesn't work right, and you'll get stuck on the way to the final boss, but you can still fight him due to a dev tool I left in, luckily; click with the middle mouse key to putt Molly where you click, but try to put her exactly in a doorway, too far out and it's gonna crash I think... expect a post jam update for lots of bug fixes!
