- The mechanics of the game is very interesting, puzzling around to get certain structures is gear idea. It is a bit weak on theme as I did not understand the shadow part until I read it at game design document. It could improve with a little tutorial as shadow tile part was a unclear, and it felt a bit unfair when enemies could get much bigger numbers on starts when for you it was not really possible. Game looks really smooth, keep this up!

Alcademy is a rogue-like deck builder about geometric combination and maximization used to heal, block, or attack during consecutive duels against opponents of increasing difficulty. As you defeat opponents, learn new transmutations and collect powerful essence to help you prepare for the next duel.
I've added some details below the web player, on some pieces that may be unclear, but I hope the mechanics are simple and intuitive enough to grasp without extra assistance.
This is the first game I've ever brought to a shareable state and released publicly. This game jam has been an incredible motivator, and I logged after-work hours that I hadn't previously thought possible. I hope you all enjoy playing, and if not, I'm still glad I got to share this with everyone.

Extra Notes
If you're playing on a display that isn't 16:9 aspect ratio, I'd recommend avoiding full-screen mode.

A very impressive game development for such a short window. Felt like there was so much thought put into allowing a short game to have so many different outcomes based on collecting different transmutations and essences. I can't count how many times I have played it, but man it is addicting! Great work StarlitForge! I hope to see more development in the future :)
Really fun getting to the endgame and seeing all of the different patterns overlapping and trying to solve the puzzle of making the best turn possible. Great mix of challenging and rewarding, feels exciting to get rare+ essences and transmutations, and overall a very clean and well-made game!
cool idea! i can imagine this being expanded to have abilities more complex than hp shield and dmg (i would love to play smth like that where instead of giving stats it would activate abilities similar to what slay the spire cards have)
