- clever mechanics. Theme feels forced in for game jam. smooth game play. Solid foundation for a fun game.

Tell us about your game!
Dwarven Brews is a horde shooter where the goal is to survive as long as you can! You fight goblins using your ALCHEMY GUN, and can craft new potion types as you kill more goblins. The controls are standard fps controls (W,A,S,D movement, Mouse look, Left click shoot). Numbers 1-4 switch between potion types and B opens the crafting menu.

I suck at FPS... so I didn't get far here.
It's very impressive to try and do this for a game jam though and I like the set up of a survival horde shooter. As I said I suck but it it does feel like some of my shots should get them when they don't... and also do I need to be swarmed quite as quickly as I am.
I had a good few, albeit very short, runs at this and would happily play it again which is I think the main aim for any game. It would be nice to have a little more upbeat music considering it's a pacy shooter.
Good design, fun shooting mechanic, lots of potential. Great work!
Thanks so much for playing! The 3D was definitely a challenge, but I'm happy with how this turned out overall!
The difficulty was definitely something I played around with a lot, and I still feel that it's not quite right. The particle effect for the explosions definitely doesn't give as much player feedback as I would like, so I'm glad to see that this suspicion was reaffirmed. Thanks so much for the feedback!
