- It was a nice platformer, and I enjoyed the ability to jump off the walls to increase height and get to where I needed to go. The animations were well done, and the fighting mechanic was pretty cool. I would just randomly die out of nowhere on some obstacles with no perceived danger. One example was I was just standing there trying to figure out what was going on with the powerups and I randomly died. Not sure if there's some kind of inactivity feature or not, but it made it difficult as I'd need to start from the beginning.

Story:
The story begins with an evil alchemist using his magic shadow stone to mutate a young boy into a shadow creature. With newly acquired shadow powers, this boy escapes his captor, fighting off and hiding from monstrous creatures created by the alchemist. While trying to find a way back to his village, the boy slowly uncovers his memories previously enveloped by shadows, learning his past and true destiny. Remembering who the shadow alchemist is and his true motives, he understands how to defeat him and save the village.

Controls:
Move: A or D (Left Arrow or Right Arrow)
Powerup: Sequence of key 3 presses (Q and E)
Jump: Space bar
Dash: S key if powerup is active
Attack: W (normal) and F (Strong) - not fully implemented yet
For testing purposes, it is possible to increase and decrease health with Up arrow and Down Arrow
Implemented Mechanics:
Standard platformer movement, Wall jump, Shadow meter (if too far from the torch it decreases and can kill you), powerup system (2 powerups but only one available at the time)...

Key combo punching is a cool idea for a platformer especially when dealing with the stress of your torch timer.
The game lack visual feedback on what's happening.
I like the mechanic of typing spells to improve your character !
