- The game plays nicely. Everything works, I haven't found something that breaks, besides maybe, that you can lose cubes and therefore could lock ourself out of completing the game. The Theme is the weakest part of this game in my opinion. Just using black and white is a very cheap way of 1) making it easy on yourself and 2) not using opportunities you might have. Black and White could be used successfully by adopting alchemy concepts and use albedo for white an nigredo for black an use the purifying (albedo) and deconstruction (nigredo) and make them work for you in this gane, this would reinforce the alchemy theme as well. I like the simplistic musical undertone with voice lines where you want to explore, a bit like getting over it and similar games. Overall I can see this work, if some more iterations are made polishing the game and incorporating the theme better.
- My feedback is; I would say alchemy is about transformation and transmutation. Not just making cubes bigger. Perhaps ya could look from another perspective and use the cubes to transformed into another shapes such as rectangle, sphere and etc. That would be transmutation! Shadows part makes sense in this game.
- I liked the idea of it, and figuring out where to run with the cubes was fun! I enjoyed the puzzle aspect and having a nice soundtrack in the background was relaxing. I would love to see the respawning mechanic improved a little as I got stuck in a falling animation and needed to refresh the page. Other than that, great playthrough!

yes

The mechanics fall from the theme shadow, but its quite the opposite, you are in a world consumed by shadow, and the point is to light it up. As you walk around the player starts "painting" the level to uncover more parts needed to pass the said level.
Story
World consumed by shadows, there is our protagonist trying to bring light to the world full of cubes that he can transmutate them into something bigger and better to overcome difficult situations.
Controls
WASD - MOVE
SPACE - JUMP
LEFT CLICK - PICKUP

Extra Notes
I did the game by myself in my spare time while streaming, i really enjoy making games in Unreal Engine, so i used UE4 to make this game. Its my first time making a game with HTML5 support so it was fun!
Also, the mouse and inputs sometimes takes a little bit to load properly so reload or be patient please :)
