  • Love the concept! Love the gameplay, the art, the sound! I find it hard to find anything negative to say about the game, but I can attempt to point out some things that could use improvements. The UI could be a little more fitting. The buttons could do with a background and you could explain the UI a little better through gameplay itself. I didn't understand what 'splash' did until I read the descriptions. Most people that play games like this would expect the explanation to be in the game. For example, you could include the explanation when you mouse over the button. All in all, really well done! Thank you for your hard work and I am looking forward to seeing where you take it!

Dane the Alchemist VS. The Forces of Evil is a game about making potions and using them to fight against monsters, alongside a band of adventurers. Follow Dane on his quest to fight evil and become a great adventurer!

Controls:
- Potion Making -
Navigate and interact with the mouse
Left Click or Space to time indicator in the brewing minigame
- Combat -
1-9 for potion slots
Left Click on party members to apply potions, or press "Splash!" to apply the effect to all targets on either side

Interesting concept! The brewing has some fun minigames.The scrolling through the items is a bit too sensitive tho :) 

The combat part felt a lot more glitchy, they just kept attacking, and suddenly the slime king one shot everyone. 

But this is a game jam and I really dig the concept. The hand drawn art feels nice too! You could flesh this out and make the planning part more impactful. I had 3 healing potions, but if my guy dies in one hit, then what does that do. Seeing what's coming could make this a really fun strategy game!
