- I think this could become a great story with time, and I like the idea. it's nice to see that you are using this game jam to do what it's meant to do. teach you to make games! next time you'll make an even better one :D
Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?
Second NOte to self, make sure you read before you submit things. It is added down below as a download link, (even though its on google drive...weird.) And also the link pointing to the google drive in the description.
Seriously... did you include your Game Design Document?
I am positive. Twice Positive too. Which I don't know if that is a good idea to be twice positive.
Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yep. If I didn't, the password is Alchemy.
Tell us about your game!
You are Nicholas or Perenelle Flamel. You two have finally made the Philosopher's stone come to life. Whoever you chose, you become that character, and the other, the stone takes their health away. You read further into the Codex and find out that the stone needed life, and took whoever was closest not holding the stone. So you find away to reactivate it, with the recipe made. However, you need to break a few laws, so you acquire stealth. Becoming a shadow of your former moral self. You will hide as you acquire the components need, grabbing everything you can, including the essence of others. Boxes will be broken, stealing from fridges and such. Stay safe, Flamel.
Extra Notes
At the final hour of this game jam, I doubt I will have it complete. But as I have stated in my GDD, the goal was to learn more about Godot 4 for another game I want to make. In which I have succeeded, and still will to be this day. I may have not won the Game Jam prize, but I won the Game Jam. Thank you to everyone.
Though the snag I hit was the inventory system. I could not get it to work for some reason. I am working on getting it worked now, but I doubt it will be before the game jam. I have released what an idea what the game would look like.
