- Game play is intuitive but it seems buggy at times, e.g. I got stuck in a wall on starting the "UNKOWNCULT!AREA" and couldn't move. Moving controls were intuitive. But I kept getting teleported to new maps for no apparent reason? Developing photographs as an interpretation of the alchemy theme is quite interesting and clever. However, the implementation of it is a little confusing and it took me a while to realise that that was what was happening. The player providing the light to the area, and having it blocked by corners or objects is a nice touch. And nice use of procedural generation - makes for increased replayability. Storywise however, it felt a little loose. It would nice to have some sort of introductory text of animation to set the scene or describe what the player is to do. Your GDD appears to be missing a few things, like details about the music or playtesters, but what is there is good.
- The music and art were great. The idea of the game was fun, maybe add some dogs and tools to be more countering would add some loop to the game. Like a decoy flash light and dog treats. Otherwise good job!
