  • Interesting game, a tutorial or guidance would be more helpful, the game lacks steering and can be confusing at first as worker behaviour does not make sense

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
It's a management style game where the player runs a factory, based on an Abe Kobo short story called "Kouzui" (or "The Flood").

Hire workers and buy machines from a shop then place them on the factory floor. Ensure you have enough money to pay your rent. If workers get too unhappy they turn to liquid.

It doesn't work particularly well, but if you want to see the liquifaction have more machines than workers and let it run for a bit. If two liquid workers collide they form one blob, but they move randomly so it can be hard to make that happen.

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Extra Notes
This is my first game jam and I only started using gamemaker in December, and my previous coding experience was just some HTML in the Myspace days. I had a good time and learned a bunch of stuff, which is the entire thing.

Thanks to all the judges and organisers of the jam.
