Tell us about your game!
Novus Contagion is a twin-stick shooter where the Player is infection with an alien substance that is slowly spreading and taking them over. As the infection spreads, the Player gains access to unique powers but if it spreads to their whole body they die. Do you fight off the infection with medication or use injectors to take the powers further?

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Extra Notes
The level was going to be a lot larger, an animated win-screen with three possible endings, and music!!! ...if I didn't run into optimization issues an hour before submitting. I've never done a GDD before either so any feedback on the GDD will be massively appreciated! I've included both a pdf and a docx version.

Sorry, I couldn't get into the game, maybe it's my laptop. Screenshots look great though!

Huh, that's weird. I did get a chance to test it ahead of time and it seemed to be working. The cropping is a bit off with the itch.io version because it is made to scale off a 800x600 resolution but I added a fullscreen button to try and get around it. If the start game button is off screen, you should still be able to get it to play by pressing the enter key, it auto defaults to selecting start game. The same is true for the tutorial pages although those may be framed better.
