  • GDD: Want to see more images / concept art of what you had planned for the game mechanics. Glad to see an development checklist! I would like to see what could be possible if you didnt rant out of time! I like the art style & the core pitch idea. So please continued to update & improved the game after the game jam! Game: I tried to open the game, but I dont see an reason to have an installer for a game jam game. Worth mention that I am playing in virtual machine for safely reasons. Fullscreen doesnt work with buttons, but fullscreen windowed mode do work with buttons. The game is very laggy possible due to virtual machine. however it's slideshow FPS for me, so I cant play it.

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
Reverse bullet hell! I enjoy these types of games and have always wanted to make one.

Controls: WASD for movement, LMB for special attack.

Special attack must be unlocked (after level 5 is reached). Once you unlock, you will have a new in-game cursor that indicates whether you are able to cast the attack. Also the attack costs XP which I thought was a neat mechanic twist.

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

I'm so happy I decided to participate, this was a lot of fun.

This is my first game. This is my first time making pixel art. This is my first time animating anything. And if I had more time, this would have been my first time making audio/sfx!

Thanks for making this a reality and encouraging so many people like me to take the creative plunge into trying out game development!

The game was great fun, nice nod to Vampire Survivors! Well done for your first game! Managed to get to level 10 before I ended up dying.  No sound did affect my experience a little bit, but of course it would exist if you had more time. Only bug was that if I pressed ESC to pause the game and tape it again, it would leave one of the buttons on screen. Over than that, fun game!

Hey thanks for checking it out! That's so weird, I thought I had fixed that button issue. I will take another look at it.
