  • Pretty neat! The aesthetics are nice and the theme is implemented pretty well.

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
Story:
You wake as a zombie with a lust for brains and world domination. Grow your horde by spreading your virus to reanimate fellows corpses and make your way through each level.
Controls:
All are explained in game, unfortunately no Game pad controls currently as there are contextual actions and altering for gamepads was a coding design I was willing to let go for the prototype stage.
Mechanics:
Again these are explained in game and somewhat on the game page, but the main mechanics are resurrecting fellow corpses, play dead to avoid enemies and horde rush where you can send your horde after enemies.
ENJOY!!!

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Extra Notes
I had a lot of fun making this and learning some new skills. The SFX and music i created using chiptune software and was something I had not tried before.
Also, completely coded with UE5 blueprints, extreme spaghetti code. Don't @ me...

Quite the interesting experience. The visuals are great and are definitely the standout of the game. A game where you play as the zombies but is actually at a disadvantage is certainly unique. And the stealth focused game play along with the different kinds of zombies and enemies is absolutely seeping with possibilities.

Thankyou for the kind words!

I definitely have a lot of ideas to expand this concept with more player mechanics and scenarios, one being a boss fight that I intended to be in this prototype, but was starting to cut close with available time before submission so opted to leave it out in case I couldn't finish the mechanics of it.

Thanks for playing!

Amazing usage of the resources to bring the best visuals and I see that as a giant win by itself already, mechanics were nice but I felt that it was a bit slow, but overall really great

Thanks for the feedback!

Loved this game, thought the graphics were really well put together and the soundtrack was great!! I did find a glitch at the end of the Sub Basement level where you're at what I'm guessing is the end with the soldiers with their backs to you. I pressed 'R' to have the horde attack, but nothing happened (I'm playing on Windows 10). Otherwise, we thought this game was great!!

Developer

thankyou for the feedback!

Were you able to reset the trigger and pass the level? If so did that happen in the following levels or did the horde function work?

Submitted(+1)

No i wasnt able to reset it here's a video of where I get stuck I tried it again and got stuck in the same spot https://streamable.com/bb8axx

Thankyou!
Someone else posted a playthrough with the same issue, it was the trigger volume that set the horde ability active not interacting properly to the player. I've done a fix, along with a few other things i saw and updated to V0.2.

Thanks!!
