  • There was no theme implementation at all. I find Idle games can be fun, and this reminds me a lot of Game Dev Tycoon!
  • Not bad, but I feel it's overly simplistic. Watching numbers increase in order to click buttons that make numbers increase faster isn't very exciting. I also found the game to be incredibly easy with no consequences at all. I was able to get to day 8 without being close to losing all my "mental health" bar. By day 4 I found myself able to spam-purchase all the upgrades because I was absolutely rolling in cash. I believe I ended the game with about $1M dollars. I also feel that the theme of "Spreading" took a bit of a back seat. Yes we're making games that spread across the world, but the player is sort of left to imagine that happening as we simply watch numbers go up. Perhaps if the "World Map" button had worked, and the player was able to visually see their growing influence across the world, it would have landed better. I also would have liked some indication in the game of how many days the player is supposed make games for. I only knew the answer because I read the document you included. Overall, not a bad idea, but I feel it needs more to really bring this one to its potential. Thanks for entering the game jam! :D

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
No

Tell us about your game!
It's a game where you make games to spread around the world, and you will be need to end the week with a lot amount of download count or money, for at least.

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes (in game page description)

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Extra Notes
The Game Design Documentation is included in game page description as it was made in Google Docs, and attempting to export to something DOCX would be pain.

Had fun with this! I like idle games

The game told me that I overdid it.

I was trying to find a max on "Boost Download". I'm now a super rich regular at the local insane asylum!

Fun game! Great use of the UI tools in Godot.

Neat Idea! Simple clicker style game. My biggest complaint is that  its a bit easy! the addicting part of these clicker style games is that while you do you get to exponentially grow, the game constantly exponentially grows with you and that's just not here! also for being 7 days long, you kind of get into a bit of a repetitive grind by day 3 on normal play. I would suggest adding more activities and upgrades that help you grow your p2w games even more!

I like the idle game idea, however, I had a strong urge to stop playing at the start due to the long wait times of the games. Other than that, good job.

There was a small bug that stopped allowing me to make games.

These are the notes I jotted down while playing:

  • There aren't any setbacks to keep the game engaging.
  • I loved the UI, but I do wish I could move the windows to have both game-making and dev skills up.
  • I wasn't sure what would happen if my energy to zero. Do I die? I got scared and pressed shutdown.
  • Basics are here to make a very fun game that could take up many hours from users.

Great work. Looking forward to the future if you continue after the jam.

needs improvement, but it's a good game
