This is *amazing* it looks like no engine either? Works so well. Moreover, I *love* the sprite sheets, vector and some of the best match for the comic's art I've ever seen. I may re-use these if I ever get to trying a game myself :)
Hey Perita,
Many, many, many thanks for this full point-and-click experience with Pepper&Carrot.
You can’t imagine how I laughed hard at the last part (no spoiler), that was an absolute mind-blowing experience 😆
Thank you also for making it complete, with an ending, a puzzle, and a story. I see you shared and opened the code and I really hope it will inspire you or contributors to continue the project.
Thanks for taking the time to play, not only my game but every game in the jam. And for your awesome showcase video :)
I tried to make an ending that had the same kind of humor as most Pepper&Carrot’s episodes have. Based on your comment, i believe i can count it as a success!
I do not think i am going to continue this particular project, as it was intended only for the jam. Having said that, i would love to make a full-featured point and click adventure based on Pepper&Carrot, with a proper story and a magic system similar to the one in Find Carrot !, which i loved.
Again, thank you for playing, for your comment, and, above all, for Pepper&Carrot!
It was a fun little game with lots of look and vibe from the original. It has the right length and easiness for a game jam. It almost feels like you are playing a webcomic. Very well done.
I don’t think I can say anything that others didn’t say, but it’s short and sweet, and absolutely awesome for a gamejam project in terms of overall feeling of being well-made and finished.
Hey ! Just tested your game, and it is amazing ! I know how incredibly long it is to hand-draw characters and environements (even more animate character!). You did a great job there. And even the story fits super well within the world of pepper & carrot, with a nice humorous twist. That's brilliant. Everything worked fine for me, no bugs. Congrats then !

Thank you a lot for your comment!
I am using Heaps for the engine, but all the point and click bits are the code i wrote for other jams.
All graphics assets are CC-BY, so reuse them as much as you like ^_^

Thank you very much for your kind comment!
This is absolutely gorgeous, and really follows in David’s style regarding the playfulness and humour.
Bravo!
Would love to see more if you ever decide to make any, I am definitely a fan!
Glad to know that, if not a proper game, i least i could deliver in terms of humor. Thanks a lot for trying it!

Thank you very much! ^_^
It's short but the graphics are absolutely beautiful. You really nailed the style of the original comics.
Thank you for playing and for your comment! I was going for a “playable episode” style, so i am glad that i partially succeed ^_^.
Fun game! I think point&click genre fits pretty well in P&C universe.
(are people draw on orbs in this universe? c:)
Thank you for playing! Yes, i obviously think that point and click fits very well :)
