At first I was like "ok thousand year war is my favorite" and then I listened to recollections again and I was like "wait hang on..."

This is all insanely impressive, especially for the short timeframe. Fantastic job!

A very strong entrance for a first jamer. And then even with multiple songs! Felt like being right in the moment and venturing with the hero on his journey. Definitely "the thousand years war".

If I could advice: Your Woondwinds sometimes are having long lasting passages. Maybe think about letting room for breathing breats or edit them in for a more realisting feel.
Also your strings are quite heaby on using just Legato without any wurthor starting articulation. It might be sometimes more preferable to give them more articulation even if it is just for the start of the nex passage (might be sounding odd but singing the parts with la for legato and ta for articulated helped very much. Might be an approach).

I really enjoyed these 7 mins. thank you for the emotion and the strings moment :'
beautifull!! (the end of the thousand year war was something epic)

This is really nice. Recollections is my favorite. Super emotional and just beautiful overall!

To create such a movement amongst this many tracks in a weekend with strong motifs and to do it in accordance with the palindrome theme, I'm crazy impressed. Loved listening to this Carrot!

You've done some beautiful work here.

oh my word, recollections is so beautiful. thousand year war gives me the goosebumps. in another life is so cinematic. These tracks have so much character! This was an amazing listen!!! Good job!!

Fantastic composition, this jam has alot of japanese style oriented composer. Great arrangement and orchestration, well done.

I can't seem to find if you made a story beyond the cover art so I will just head cannon. This is definitely a headstrong archer woman and a prim princess woman from opposing nations Yuri.

The tracks are super pretty and I love the instruments! The Asian influence is apparent and it fits the art style super well!

Great job!

Awesome soundtrack !
The instrumentation is top-notch and the tracks are very soulful and varied.
The palindrome-part is very subtle at first, but it can be picked up when actively listening.
Overall very enjoyable tracks (and cover art too) so great job !

Really good comps, I just think the mixing and compression could have been a little more tight. There are some super noticable peaks in some places, but otherwise fantastic.

Beautiful music for beautiful art. Honestly i teared up from Recollections, got immense chills on The Thousand Year War, and then cried for In Another Life. I would not be surprised if this were actually used in a movie or something along the lines of it. I'm putting this in my playlist for sure. Words legit cannot describe just how much I'm in love with this piece. God, I'm tearing up again just from thinking about it :')))

Edit: Just realized it reminded me of Boku Ga Shinou To Omottanowa which made me cry as well

WOAH.
I'm glad I gave this a listen, you're just excellent!
this is truly on another level, I don't have much critique but I wish you would have went for the C difficulty, because you definitely are capable of knocking it out of the park, same way that you did with this.

thank you so much!!!!!

I feel like you did a really good job conveying the tragedy and I like the little Asian influences in your melodies and instrumentation.

Developer(+1)

thank you!! :DD that was one of my favorite parts of making this soundtrack haha

heartwrenching melodies, beautiful instrumentation, intense emotions, you've got it all here.  and the art is such a lovely complement to the music, i'm amazed you made that and the music in the span of this jam.  i can absolutely see this being an anime ost.  great work.

Developer

thank you so much!!!! :'DDD that was honestly one of the goals i had in mind when composing this LOL i'm a sucker for emotional film/anime osts
