I love the cover art! Did you make it?

Two beautiful pieces that complement each other well.

I think that even if you don't have as much experience as you say, you are good at creating musical moments that evoke emotion. So You nailed it! Well done, keep going♥

Thanks so much, I did do the art as well.

Cute, simple, atmospheric and soulful! Thanks)

These were beautiful, though a tad quiet!

Outside of the volume, if you decide to go for a more realistic approach with orchestral instrumentation, bear in mind the flute player will have to breathe at some point! The flute you had in One Step at a Time was a beautiful pairing with the piano, so just keep in mind fading out some long notes to simulate a stop for breath and you'll have yourself a phenomenal piece!

Otherwise, really great job for someone just starting out their game dev journey! Keep going, cuz I wanna hear more!

Thanks so much, and I'll def be making more stuff in the future.

Congrats on completing and submitting!

I think these are solid, there's some good ideas in theme and I like the choice of instrumentation - very complementary (of course) but well written in tandem. Volume is definitely a little low but for a jam entry that isn't a major deal - I just cranked my output a little. I think my favorite of the two is Weather the Storm - really nice arranging in this one in particular. Great articulation in the playing; nice and evocative.

Great work, and congrats again. I wish you the best of luck!

Good work, very calm and soothing. As others mentioned already, the tracks were a bit too quiet. Enjoyed it nonetheless.

it is really quiet so a volume increase on the whole thing would do wonders.

I liked the rain sounds in Weather The Storm!

What a joy to listen to! "Weather the Storm" was lovely, both pensive and emotional.

My only suggestion is to make it louder. I had to max my volume to get it to a good listening level.

Awesome job!

Good stuff! I always like the use of ambient sound effects, it makes that first track feel very cozy. Both have nice, calming melodies and good ambience. I like them a lot.

Developer

Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed.

these are really pretty compositions! i think the overall volume levels of the tracks could be increased to give listeners the best opportunity to hear your musical ideas (commonly with a limiter on the master channel to avoid clipping). super impressive for your second project, keep up the great work!

Developer

Thanks, and glad you liked it. I'll try to keep the volume in mind for next time.

For the second project you’ve completed, this was excellent! I really enjoyed both tracks, and they felt well composed and full of emotion! Great job!!

this is really lovely! one step at a time is so serene and calming. it would be nice to hear some different textures in there throughout, but the melody is catchy and the chords are cool^^

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. Im a piano and woodwind player originally so that's all I really have an idea to write for.
