Description
An indie-type soundtrack meant to evoke going on a surreal acquatic adventure. All music was recorded, mixed and mastered in Cubase.

Message from the artist
Wanted to do a lot more but I had other commitments. I've now realised that one of the songs didn't export properly and is only 16 seconds long. Oh well, I'll fix it once the jam is over.*

*Ok, the soundcloud link has the fixed track now.

Theme

Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
I took inspiration from the fish in the picture and imagined a puzzle game featuring them. I wanted a sountrack that was a little weird but rhythmic rnough to allow a player to focus on puzzles.

These tracks are groovy and chill af. I quite enjoyed listening. Good job!

I love your guitar playing in both tracks. Reminds me of a hot day on the beach with the sounds of waves crashing. Awesome job!

FISH

I like the overall happy atmosphere and the combination of guitars in the Main Theme. Creates a bit of a crazy layering and... i LOVE this riff! (Share the tablature please.)

Shallows - Relaxing)

Thanks!

The synth in the first track was a surprise but a welcome one as it added a lot to it!

Great submission! Loved listening to “Shallows”, very chill and watery. The rhythmic changes in “Main Theme” we’re very fun as well. I think a low pass on the lead would be helpful in “Main Theme”, as it was a little piercing. Good work!

I really love the vibe of these two tracks, I just wish it was a little more fleshed out, still nice though. I enjoy the synth in the first track quite a lot !

Nicely done, looks like your recorded yourself play (I think). super indie indeed, feels really underwater especially with the chorus guitarin  second track. First track has some great moment, good mix up on the rythm and chord progression, well done !

straight from the intro i could tell this was gonna be good, and it absolutely was. the guitar work on this project is great, love how it works with the other instruments in the mix, especially in the first track where it's playing with that piano-like synth. the second track is also just such a vibe, wish we could've seen more from this ost!

Amazing Soundtrack!!! I just have to say though, that it would be a lot better(And more eye catching) with different cover art.

Like exedexes1 said, I appreciate the groove you created - and with live instruments too! I'm loving the indie prog rock vibes. Compared to all the submissions I've heard, Shallows is a really unique take on the theme that still works quite well. Really cool!

The Main Theme is masterfully coordinated between percussion/strings etc., with a pleasing chill ambience to it, and it's nice to see someone with a syncopated jazz performance like mine, the thing I am going through with my submission is a lot of people in contrast are doing very lock step quantized beats.  I was very pleased with this OST!

Many thanks. I was also playing around with a track in 5/4 but it didn't get finished.
