Description
I have no clue what the genre is, but its heavily Undertale inspired. the game is an RPG, where you explore the city inside your mind! you face bad emotions, and eventually overcome your trauma, finally letting go of your past. Track 1 would be the opening, traveling into the mind world, while Track 2 is the file select! Track 3 it the title screen, and Track 4 is the theme of the Mind City! Track 5 is the battle theme, and track 6 is the game over, finally leading to the Track 7, the final boss, and track 8, the ending theme! I made all my tracks with FL Studio, and lot of soundfonts!

Message from the artist
Hopefully this is a fun album to listen to! I'm not the most experienced, but I put in a lot of effort! The Cover Art is by my Brother, The_Credits_End! I decided to go with a very SNES and Chiptune style, with orchestral parts for the intro and game over, due to the fact that they take place in the real world! (game over is both because your trapped in a limbo between them)

Theme

Inside my world

How does it fit the theme?
I took the theme as an excuse to go all the way in my style, and then tied it together with a story about a city inside your mind, where you fight off the bad emotions and overcome your trauma!

I was literally kicking my foot and bobbing my head for the whole Battle Against A Traumatic Oponent !

The rest of the OST is super coherent! Amazing job!

Clean mixes, groovy, overall super fun to listen to! Chiptuney stuff is usually super grating to me but you make it work in your mixing and variation in texture. I never thought I would actually relate to our pencil-hero souley through music but there’s somethin about this that really pulls you in!

Love this! Really felt like I was listening to an official OST for an actual game -- pieces all fit together, and the overall quality of sound was great. Battle Against a Traumatic Opponent was definitely a highlight. Everyone's pointed out the Toby Fox influence lol, but I could also see it in something like Everhood.

Good stuff!

One of your strengths as a composer is making incredibly compelling melody and bass lines, I think they do a lot to really drive your songs forward and make them super interesting to listen to!! You use leading tones very well to help make those lines push forwards even more, which is something i like a lot. I also think your use of vibrato on the lead synths was incredibly well executed, and made stuff super cool to listen to, just watch sometimes that your backing instruments don't overpower the melody! In some cases its a mixing thing which i can't really give feedback on, but a good example of this is in Angry Denizens of the Big Watermelon where your organ/electric piano has so much going on that it kind of starts taking away from everything else, it may even just be a case of that specific organ preset doesn't handle too many notes well (which is something i find happens somewhat often) so take the extra time to look through what presets you have to help bring your great ideas to life!

the musical whiplash between the first two tracks is insane but i love it. overall this soundtrack is really, really funky. such a vibe! bustling brain felt like it was straight out of a persona soundtrack (which means it's extremely groovy). battle against a traumatic opponent was a really cool tone shift that i think works very well in this ost, as without the song this ost would lack diversity throughout it all. let go is also a really good song to use as a sendoff, love it's placement. a suggestion i have is to work on sound selection. there were a lot of parts in these songs where i felt a soundfont or midi you used kinda messed with the vibe. the songwriting is absolutely there, though. great job.

Very cool! Bustling Brain and Battle Against A Traumatic Appointment are probably my favourites. The basslines sound great.

This submission was an interesting yet pleasant listen, always keeping me on my toes with what vibe I'd be presented with next.  The Undertale-style influence is very present, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Compositionally, each piece is sufficiently strong, and though the mixing could use a bit more polish, the vibes are there and carrying this submission. Great job! :D

I also loved hearing certain pieces that I remember seeing and/or offering feedback on Discord during development. Also, that little pencil! ♡

I gotta give point to originality, never heard someting like that the more you listen to it the crazier it gets, for someone with basically no music theory (yes I know this) you're getting off pretty nicely. There is a couple of tweeks to make like volume, kick drum too much in your face, some bass notes that are too low making the mix a bit muddy but overall it turned out pretty well, nicely done.

Traveling Deep Into The Mind: Sweet intro. Simple but effective natural minor harmony.

Funky Flies: A bop!

Welcome To Your Inner City: Earthbound/Deltarune vibes. Love this. Is that the Chrono Trigger rhodes? If so, I used it too lol.

Bustling Brain: Ooh. that synth that comes in towards the end.

Angry Denizens Of The Big Watermelon: Remember hearing this one on Discord. Cool cat synth.

Overpowering Emotions: That synth reminds me of Homestuck. Very pretty composition.

Battle Against A Traumatic Opponent: You're all ready to compose for an Undertale fangame haha. Love the chromatic descent progression. This is a certified banger.

Let Go: Love the SFX.

Your style is so fun to listen to. Enjoyed finally listening to the finished product of your snippets. Great work!

Okay... listening to the "Battle with an atraumatic opponent", I got up from my chair and LITERALLY danced (I'm not kidding)

Each composition is very diverse individually... But inside, some are a little monotonous (Except for the Battle with an atraumatic opponent. I love it!)

Very stylized work) Good work!
