Description
Magic Stopwatch Adventure is a dreamy, grimy, retro electronic soundtrack to a fantastical game about a boy who can control time! The game is a short, psychological horror puzzle platformer, in which you play as a young kid, Alex. Playing around in the woods one day, Alex finds a magic stopwatch that grants him the power to speed up and slow down time around him. Alex has fun running around his town warping time and messing with his neighbors, but as he seeks more of a thrill, he speeds time up wayyyy too fast and absolutely destroys the entire fabric of reality and his world, whoops! Now its up to Alex to wander around the endless infinite void to fix time itself and bring life back to harmony, also he is only nine years old! The first track “speeding up time with my magic stopwatch is so fun :D” represents the first quarter of the game where Alex is running around and having a blast warping time around him. The second track “oh no! you broke time forever :(“ represents Alex’s descent into the infinite painful void he created for himself. The third track “time is no longer, you are infinite” represents Alex’s trek through the timeless void, to try and piece his reality back together. The final track “you fixed time and everything is back to normal, good job!” is a celebratory piece to represent Alex’s triumphant victory over time as he brings back peace and harmony to the world. Again, this kid is 9 years old, he’s been through a lot, and things are finally back to normal! I created all four of these tracks in Ableton, mostly using soundfonts, digital synths and drum racks I’ve compiled together throughout my years of making music. I used my midi controller to write everything and my boyfriend helped me weave the narrative of these tracks together! This is my first OST jam and I had a blast! THANKS!!

Very nice track, wide range of emotions, from fun to sad, then back to relieving. Great narrative, I like the story, sounds interesting, makes me wonder how would game look and play during the broken time fabric section. Keep it up!

It's a really cool narrative journey you took us on here. The jump in tone from Speeding Up Time With My Magic Stopwatch is so Fun :D to Oh No! You Broke Time Forever ;( is heavy, dark and well foreshadowed. Then the ethereal wash of Time Is No Longer definitely gives the sense of an infinite void you were going for. Great job!

each track was so different from each other, but at the same time so well made! i loved the tension rising in track 1, then the aftermath of your decisions being portrayed in tracks 2 and 3. my personal favourite was track 4! very funky, and very resolved. really liked this one :))

Damn, that was a nice mixture of songs. I like the "you are infinite" ambient texture the most (out of personal taste; I listen to a lot of ambient)

Great job!

Instructions unclear; I abused time and got stuck in the 4th dimension - whoopsies!
the transition from track 1 to 2 is friggin awesome and I love it so much. The whole ost really goes so well together, and the plot along with the ost gives off old horror flash game vibes. I think the 4th track is my favorite, awesome outro track.

"Oh No! You Broke Time Forever ; ("  is cool, 3rd track has a really cool wet ambience that is super relaxing and kinda emotional -- The last track is super fun and a great outro!
